Toshiba Receives Order to Supply Steam Turbines and Generators For Norte III Combined Cycle Power Plant in Mexico

Toshiba has received an order to supply two sets of steam turbine and generators (STG) for the Norte III Combined Cycle Power Plant in Chihuahua, Mexico. Abengoa, the major Spanish engineering company awarded Toshiba the STG contract. Toshiba will start delivery of STG to the site from August 2016 and the plant is scheduled to come on line in August 2017.

Toshiba has received an order to supply a 472-megawatt steam turbine and generator (STG) for the Allen Combined Cycle Power Plant being constructed by the Tennessee Valley Authority , the US- government-owned power utility. With this order, Toshiba reached the milestone of a cumulative total for 100 orders for STG in North America.
Toshiba to Supply Steam Turbine and Generator for Duyen Hai 3 Extension Coal-fired Power Plant in Vietnam

Toshiba has received an order to supply 688MW supercritical steam turbine and generator for Duyen Hai 3 Extension Coal-fired Power Plant in the Duyen Hai district of Tra Vinh Province, Vietnam. The contract was awarded by Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation, the EPC contractor for the project. Toshiba will make delivery in 2016 and the plant will start operationin 2018.

A consortium of Toshiba, IHI Corporation, Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd. and Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd., has won an engineering, procurement and construction contract for a 2,000MW ultra-super-critical coal-fired power generation project in Mukim Jimah in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia (Project).
